Our Pudsey brownies

Cake glorious cake! And all for a good cause might we add. With only three days until Children in Need, it’s time to rake out your pinnies and get your whisks at the ready!

This year’s theme is being the ‘Hero’, so why not make like Fearne Cotton and Tess Daly and whip up a batch of your favourite sugary goodies for charity? We know we are!

Here’s a super easy brownie recipe that will have everyone raiding your bake sale. Just remember to keep some for yourself!

Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • 85g Flour
  • 40g Cocoa
  • 275g Caster Sugar
  • 185g Unsalted Butter
  • 250g Milk Chocolate
  • 50g White Chocolate

Method

  1. Set your oven to 160C to preheat.
  2. Melt the butter and 200g of milk chocolate over the hob. Once melted leave to cool.
  3. Chop the remaining chocolate into small chunks.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients into a large bowl and stir until fully mixed.
  5. Pour the butter and chocolate mix into the bowl and add the chocolate chunks.
  6. Stir them all together.
  7. Line a baking tray with baking parchment and spread out the mixture on the paper.
  8. Pop into the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Once out the oven, test with a knife (it should come out clear) and leave to cool.
  10. Serve! Remember to put your Pudsey twist on it!
