Adele’s new album 25 is about to be released this Friday, though reports of a premature album leak have surfaced.

The Guardian reported today that 2 minute clips of the unreleased songs were available on an unnamed site yesterday, however the page was taken down shortly after.

The excitement of the album’s release is building, with fans taking to social media to voice their anticipation over the return of the beloved singer.

Last night Adele performed in New York at the Radio City Music Hall with the performance being taped for an NBC special called Adele Live in New York City.

Adele at the BBC is the UK special to be aired this Friday, the date of the official album release.

Graham Norton will be hosting the hour long special where Adele will perform classic tracks as well as new songs, accompanied by her live band. Norton and the singer will also chat about her career and life to date.

Mr. Norton said:

“This is the music event of the year and I’m thrilled to be part of bringing it to BBC One. This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn’t hosting this special I’d be sat at home watching it!”

Adele has been the front cover story for several publications in the run up to Friday’s release. For those of you interested in hearing more form the singer herself, you can find her talking to Rolling Stone, i-D Magazine and the Guardian’s Observer Music Magazine.
