Brainstorm: Hidden Charms – Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh (Preview)

Painstakingly cool and unmistakably groovy, Hidden Charms touchdown the Scottish leg of their tour in Edinburgh on Friday night.

The London four-piece headline a show at Sneaky Pete’s, three months after a fantastic co-headline show with The Vryll Society at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.

The band sit alongside a growing collective of psych-tinged alternative acts working in and around Liverpool on Skeleton Key Records and the late Alan Wells’ Deltasonic label, on which the band released their latest EP ‘Harder From Here’. Fresh from a support slot with The Coral on their ‘Distance Inbetween’ UK tour in December, alongside the likes of The Sundowners, She Drew The Gun and Edinburgh’s own Rituals, Hidden Charms demonstrated their heightening credentials to a fanbase on the up.

Their latest single ‘I Just Want To Be Left Alone’ is available for download now.

Tickets are still available for Friday’s gig.
