Barcelona are looking to make Champions League history tonight as they attempt to overturn a four goal deficit in the knockout stages of the competition for the first time.
PSG take a strong 4-0 lead to the Camp Nou after dismantling Barcelona at the Parc de Princes last month. Goals from Edison Cavani, Julian Draxler and a brace from Angel de Maria gave PSG their comfortable lead in the first leg.
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique claims that Barcelona are capable of ‘scoring six’ tonight. The Spanish champions have scored 11 goals in their past two matches and conceded only one goal. They were back to their very best last Saturday as they defeated Celta Vigo 5-0, with Lionel Messi and Neymar each getting a brace in the process.
The last time PSG knocked out Barcelona was in the 1994/95 quarter finals and since then the Catalan outfit have knocked PSG out the competition twice.
Barcelona have progressed to quarter finals of the Champions League in the last nine seasons. The last time they failed to do so was against Liverpool in the 2005/2006 season.
Lionel Messi , Luis Suarez and Neymar Jr are all available to play tonight. Edison Cavani who has scored seven goals in the Champions League is also fit to play.
